Temos a honra de contar, na nossa 1ª sessão “Portugal, a mudança do paradigma e o mar” - dia 3 de maio, das 18h30 às 19h30, na Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (formato híbrido), com Tiago Pitta e Cunha, actualmente CEO da Fundação Oceano Azul e recém premiado com o Prémio Pessoa 2021. Conta com um vasto currículo nas políticas marítimas, tanto a nível nacional como internacional, da União Europeia às Nações Unidas.

O Mar é um tema especial para nós portugueses, não só, pela história mas, sobretudo, pela geografia que nos coloca como um dos maiores países do mundo quando considerada a plataforma continental. Valerá a pena mencionar que somos 97% água e 3% terra.
O Mar tem sido visto como uma oportunidade pelo que nos compete tirar o maior proveito, tornando-nos uma potência marítima e posicionando-nos no mapa geoeconómico.
A sessão será em formato híbrido com inscrição obrigatória.

We are honoured to have, in our 1st session “Portugal, the paradigm shift and the sea” - May 3, from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics (hybrid format), with Tiago Pitta and Cunha, currently CEO of the Oceano Azul Foundation and recently awarded the 2021 Pessoa Prize. He has a vast curriculum in maritime policies, both nationally and internationally, from the European Union to the United Nations.

The Sea is a special theme for us Portuguese, not only because of history but, above all, because of the geography that places us as one of the largest countries in the world when considered the continental platform. It will be worth mentioning that we are 97% water and 3% earth.
The Sea has been seen as an opportunity and it is up to us to make the most of it, being a maritime power and positioning ourselves on the geoeconomic map.
The session will be in a hybrid format with mandatory registration.
